DETAIL

T70012K Carbon fiber yarn or roving is a type of reinforcement material used in the manufacturing of composite materials, particularly those made with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP). It consists of a bundle of continuous, untwisted carbon fiber filaments, typically 12,000 filaments per roving. The filaments in a carbon fiber roving are made from long, thin strands of carbon atoms that are tightly woven together to form a high-strength material. When combined into a bundle, carbon fiber roving can be woven, knitted, or layered to create fabrics, mats, or pre-preg sheets that are then used to manufacture composite parts.
